Our Helping Hearts Ball promises an evening full of surprises, entertainment, games and dancing to one of the top bands in the UK, as you help us celebrate 50 years of Heart Research UK.
Proud to be based in Leeds, Heart Research UK has paid for £22.6m of medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease across the country. Many of the procedures and treatments we now take for granted, would not have happened when they did without our ground-breaking medical research, including one of the most reliable and durable (and Yorkshire made) replacement heart valves ever used. We also paid for the first successful UK heart transplants and are now pioneering the use of new technologies in heart surgery, diagnostics and the management of heart problems that will help hundreds of thousands of patients across the UK.
