I agree to raise the minimum sponsorship pledge of £1,750 for the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon and agree to send all my sponsor money to Heart Research UK (HRUK) within 6 weeks of the race day (please note matched funding and gift aid do not apply to your minimum fundraising target, this will be added as additional funds). HRUK has the right to retract any London Marathon ballot place up until 4 February in the year you are taking part in the event. I understand that if for any reason I cannot take part in the London Marathon, my place will not be automatically deferred in my name and will be re-entered into the main ballot for the following year. In order to gain the place again you will need to enter the ballot along with all other supporters. I understand that HRUK will chase me for sponsorship money after the 6 week deadline has passed and will continue to do so until my sponsorship is received by HRUK. I also acknowledge that the event organisers, sponsors, or any person involved in the organisation of the event shall not be liable for any injury, accidents, loss or damage suffered by me in, or by reason of the event, however such may be caused. I am healthy and have no known medical conditions or any other reason why I should not participate in the event.
