Sing for Your Heart

Start your plans to host your own Sing for Your Heart event in 2017

We want choirs, bands, singers, schools and pubs across the UK to host their own Sing for Your Heart event.  Research has shown that singing reduces stress, exercises your lungs and increases blood flow.  That's why, for over a decade, we have asked people to Sing for Your Heart during the festive period and raise money for the great work that we do.

Over the last 12 years, the events have raised over £130,000 towards helping hearts near you.

Sing for Your Heart is a simple idea. We just ask you to get people together on a specific date, sing your favourite Christmas songs, collect donations and spread the festive cheer. Whether it be locals getting together in a pub, kids singing at a school performance, buskers entertaining the shoppers or even a choir hitting the high notes in a busy shopping centre, train station or local venue.

We have tips and advice to help plan your event (download below) but it really is up to you what you do. As long as you have lots of fun, raise money for Heart Research UK and belt out those festive tunes - anything goes.
