Fundraising in memory

How you choose to pay tribute to a loved one is something truly special. That’s why we hope you find some comfort in supporting us as an ongoing way to remember them.

We will stay committed to funding research while celebrating the lives of those who still inspire us.

Your valuable support helps us to move closer towards a future where more people are living healthier, happier, longer lives. See below for ways you can support us in memory of a loved one.

Hang a bauble on our tree of memories

While Christmas can be a time for happiness and joyful memories, for many of us it is also a time of reflection; a moment to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Heart Research UK welcomes you to remember them with our Christmas appeal.

Many of you give to us because you have lost someone too soon. Your donations to us in their memory help us to ensure that, in the future, other families do not go through the same heartbreak.

This Christmas, our appeal centres around the tree of memories: a virtual tree which gives everyone the chance to pay tribute to lost loved ones or write messages of support to those currently fighting heart disease.

Click on the image below to add your message and to donate what you can to help us take on heart disease.

7 million people are currently living with heart disease, and all donations raised from this appeal will fund research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease to help keep the people we love around for longer.

Whether you have a personal connection with Heart Research UK or not, you can donate and write a message to help decorate our virtual Christmas tree with colourful baubles and lights. You can even add a picture of a loved one to celebrate their memory at this special time of year.
