We have a great army of volunteers donating their time and skills to help us with our work. But to help more hearts as we enter our 50th anniversary year, we need more people just like you, to volunteer with us. You will join a highly motivated team who help make sure that our events run smoothly, collections are counted and our new fundraisers feel supported.
Our volunteering roles are flexible. We have volunteers who work at our Leeds or Birmingham offices as well as those who help us at specific events or from their own home. Our volunteers have completed tasks from posting t-shirts to our fundraisers, or bag packing in supermarkets to office administration and designing posters. Below you will find links that tell you about our different volunteering roles. So if you can spare your time and loan us your skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Our commitment to our volunteers
We are the first to say that we are only as good as our supporters and volunteers. So we will invest in you, to help you to feel confident in your role and enjoy a valuable and rewarding experience. We will provide plenty of support, on-the-job training, resources and where necessary specialist training too. A dedicated member of staff from Heart Research UK will also act as your point of call for all advice, support and information. You are important to us and those we seek to help through funding research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
