Heart Research UK is committed to supporting research at hospitals and universities across the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland.
In 2017, we announced a special grant for Northern Ireland which was awarded to Dr Chris Watson at Queen’s University Belfast to study how DNA is expressed in diseased hearts. In 2018, we invited applications again from researchers at institutions in Northern Ireland for research projects into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease and related conditions.For information about eligibility and how grants are chosen, please see Translational Research Project (TRP) Grants
