The course has been developed to facilitate the training needs of cardiothoracic trainees and newly-qualified consultants, covering theoretical and technical aspects of heart transplantation with the opportunity to practice the techniques in the cadaver. The core objective is to provide skills and knowledge that can readily be transferred to the clinical environment.
