The course has been developed to facilitate the training needs of cardiothoracic trainees and newly-qualified consultants, covering the theoretical aspects of mitral valve pathology and its management, with the opportunity to practice elements of valve implantation and repair. The core objective is to provide skills and knowledge that can be readily transferred to the clinical environment.
