Customers of a caravan and motorhome insurance company in Halifax who decided to receive their policies by email have helped raise over £14,000 for Heart Research UK.

Caravan Guard donate £1 every time a customer opts for an emailed policy rather than receiving their documents through the post.

The company’s Paperless Policies campaign, which also has a positive impact on the environment, has now raised almost £80,000 over the last nine years.

Laura at Caravan Guard said: “It’s pleasing to see this initiative continue to raise so much money, supporting the extremely valuable work which Heart Research UK delivers across the country. Thank you to all our customers for supporting and helping us write these big cheques for charity.”

Our Chief Executive Barbara Harpham said: “We’re so pleased that Caravan Guard and their customers have once again chosen to support Heart Research UK.

“The money raised will help go towards paying for medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease – helping hearts for many years to come, both in Yorkshire and across the UK.”
