A Freddie Mercury tribute night at one of Birmingham’s Gala Bingo’s proved to have a kind of magic after £540 was raised for Heart Research UK.

Gala Bingo and Heart Research UK in the Midlands hosted a special evening of bingo, food and drink, rounded off with a special performance by Freddie Mercury impersonator Bruce Game, as featured on BBC and ITV.

Guests and supporters from across the Midlands attended including Directors and members of staff from our partner BMG Research, who recently announced HRUK as their charity partner of the year.

John Lloyd, Regional Executive at Heart Research UK, said “It was a fun-packed evening. Bruce is a wonderful tribute act and certainly got the party going.

“A big thank you to Mark and his staff at Gala Bingo who looked after us throughout. We raised £280 through ticket sales and £260 from a collection on the night.

“Thank you everyone who helped, supported and donated.”
