Running the London Marathon for Charity is the most incredible experience you can have over 26.2 miles. Demand for this world-famous event is high, so we’d urge anyone interested in taking on this challenge to apply for one of our places.

We look after our runners here at Heart Research UK.

As a member of #TeamHRUK we will provide you with:

  • Training and nutrition tips and access to a real-life marathon trainer
  • A Heart Research UK t-shirt and running vest
  • Reception drinks the evening before the marathon
  • Team Strava and Whatsapp group
  • Regular Zoom calls with the team and marathon experts
  • Fundraising ideas and resources – from posters and balloons to collection boxes and stickers
  • The chance to share advice and training tips with #TeamHRUK past and present
  • A member of the Heart Research UK team on hand to support you every step of the way

If you've secured a ballot or good for age place through the London Marathon and would like to join #TeamHRUK, we'd love to have you on the team. You’ll get all the same support and will be part of an inspirational team from starting gun to finish line. Simply raise as much as you can.
