33% of people who attend a Heart Research UK heart health check will be referred to the GP for clinically undiagnosed high blood pressure and/or cholesterol. Coronary heart disease is responsible for 68,000 deaths every year in the UK and is largely preventable. Understanding your heart health numbers is crucial, as it can motivate you to adopt positive lifestyle changes that reduce your risk of developing coronary heart disease.
