People with heart failure are sometimes fitted with pacemakers to regulate their heart rhythm.

However, even with a pacemaker, people often experience breathlessness and fatigue during physical activity.

This project aims to develop a cost-effective technique for measuring the best programming for pacemakers that will make exercise easier for people.

This has the potential to significantly improve quality of life for these people and allow them to carry out more activity in their day to day lives.
