Heart Research UK is proud to fund the Women and Cardiovascular Disease Priority Setting Partnership being led by Professor Julie Sanders at King’s College London. Together, we can beat the bias and drive meaningful change to women’s heart health.
Earlier in the year the first part of this project was launched asking people for their research question about women’s heart health. The response to this first survey was fantastic, with over 2000 questions and comments submitted about women’s heart health. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far.
Whether or not you took part in the first survey, we still need to hear from you. This survey is open to individuals (male and female) with lived or professional experience of women’s heart disease, including patients, carers, family members, healthcare professionals, those working in related healthcare or support roles, and anyone with an interest in improving women’s heart health across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The questions submitted in the first survey have been carefully reviewed, grouped and refined into a shortlist of key unanswered questions about women’s heart health. We now need your help to identify which of these questions matter most.
In this survey, you will be asked to select up to 10 questions that you feel should be prioritised for future research. Your responses will help determine which questions progress to the final stage of the project and ultimately contribute to the Top 10 research priorities for women’s heart health.
The survey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete and can be completed at a time that suits you. Please also share the survey with friends, colleagues and your wider networks so that we can hear from as many people as possible.
