I lead Heart Research UK’s policy and public affairs work. I joined in summer 2026 after 15 years leading policy and advocacy teams across the charity and health sector, from the RSPB and the Ramblers to the British Medical Association and Royal College of Physicians. I am passionate about bringing patients, health professionals and politicians together to solve big policy challenges and improve people’s lives. I live on the Kent coast with my wife and love nothing more than bobbing about in the sea.
