Calming chamomile is the star of the show here, which helps promote a feeling of relaxation and promotes good sleep. A great alternative to alcohol and sugar laden cocktails.

Method

  1. Start by adding the tea bags to a large jug, roughly chop or grate the ginger and add to the jug before pouring over 500ml freshly boiled water. Leave this to brew and cool for 1 hour.
  2. Strain the cooled tea, add the lime juice and divide between 4 glasses filled with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with lime wedges and a sprig of rosemary or mint – whatever you fancy.

    Ingredients

  • 4 x chamomile tea bags
  • 1 thumb size piece of fresh ginger
  • 500 ml freshly boiled water
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 500 ml soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or mint to garnish
  • Lime wedges to garnish
