We’re pleased to announce that Heart Research UK is taking part in ITN Productions’ programme ‘Health at Heart’, launched on World Heart Day, together with other industry experts.

ITN Productions Industry News has produced a news-style digital programme called Health at Heart, promoting awareness of cardiovascular diseases, the importance of prevention and the latest advances within cardiology.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the world’s biggest killers, with heart disease and stroke claiming 18.6 million lives each year. Aimed at raising global awareness of cardiovascular disease and driving action, Health at Heart highlights the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle and develops understanding around the functions of heart health from stroke to heart failure.  The programme shows the significant global advancements in cardiology and explores the cutting-edge research and healthcare technologies leading the charge in prevention, treatment and patient care.

Aligning perfectly with the ambitions of Heart Research UK, we’re delighted to be involved alongside the British Society for Heart Failure, Heart UK, Dr Hazel Wallace aka the Food Medic amongst others.

Our Chief Executive, Kate Bratt-Farrar, speaks about the importance of our HER Disease campaign, shining a light on how heart disease is not just a man’s disease.

The programme launched on World Heart Day, 29th September 2022, and combines key sector interviews, informative news items and sponsored editorial profiles from leading organisations. The programme is also distributed in partnership with the New Scientist.
