FAQ's

A: Our anonymous heART project is carefully curated by our Campaign Manager based on the style/genres that we know our buyers are interested in.  Artists are carefully selected and approached by invitation to take part.  As we only do one auction per year, we are careful to keep the content fresh and relevant so there’s a wide variety of artwork available to bid on.

A: No, we don’t want to stifle your talent by harnessing you to a theme. We’d rather you, the experts, let your creative juices flow and create something of your very own.

A: Absolutely ANYTHING – and if it doesn’t work with the postcard, you can do it on a separate piece of card and attach it, or if it’s not attachable (a sculpture or needlework for example), then create it the same size (A5 – 148mm x 210mm) and send it in with the signed and completed card for authentication purposes.

A: We’ve sent a few postcards, to allow room for error. However, we’d very much welcome more than one if you’re able to produce them.

A: The FINAL deadline is 1st August 2024. However, we’d much rather receive it sooner than later to allow us time to have it professionally photographed, catalogued and uploaded for the auction.

A: This year’s auction will take place on eBay from 1st – 10th November 2024. We use eBay as we have lots of international buyers and it’s much easier for us to post and track items using eBay’s Global Shipping Programme.

A: Yes, a list of contributors will be published a couple of weeks before the auction starts.

A: You’ll find a list of other artists who have contributed to the project in the buyers’ hub.
