Join Heart Research UK’s Patient & Public Network and help shape our work.
If you are living with or have had a heart condition, if you are carer, friend, or family member of someone with a heart condition, we want to hear from you.
It’s free to sign up, and your input will help us do everything we can to meet patient and carer needs.
By signing up to be part of the network you will receive the following opportunities by email to work with Heart Research UK:
- Take part in our market research by sharing with us the needs and priorities of people who live with heart diseases, and those who care for them.
- Work with researchers at every stage of a research project from project design to dissemination of results. Use your experience as either a patient or a carer to ask questions and offer advice on what research would improve their quality of life.
- Assist us in translating and communicating research findings using language that is accessible to patients and the public.
- Help us to create, improve and direct patients and the public to our HRUK resources such as our website, leaflets, and health questionnaires to keep them informative, relevant and user friendly.
- Help us develop and update HRUK principles, strategy, and policies.
- Share your story with our fundraising and marketing teams. We know research works, and with your help we can encourage more people to donate and support us. Many peoples’ loved ones are around for longer now because we have driven advancements in prevention and treatments. We will not stop until there are no more deaths from heart diseases.
