Cajun & Honey Salmon Fillets

Salmon is an oily fish which contains a type of polyunsaturated fat called omega 3. Aim to have two portions of fish a week, one of which should be an oily fish to promote good heart heath.

Ingredients

  • 2 x salmon fillets

  • 1 tsp cajun spice

  • honey

  • Cooked seasonal greens (for example, broccoli or green beans) and grains such as quinoa or brown rice to serve

Directions

  • Place salmon fillets on a plate skin side down. Drizzle with honey (approximately 1 teaspoon per fillet) and then sprinkle with Cajun spice.
  • Place salmon fillets into air fryer basket and cook at 180°C for 8-10 mins.
  • Serve with greens, quinoa or rice or a mixed salad.
